Account Executive

 

The position of Account Executive will cover a broad range of responsibilities pursuant to GCommerce goals of driving revenue for our hotel/resort clients.  Essentially though, an Account Executive of GCommerce will be responsible for leading the strategy for digital marketing efforts with their own assigned client hotels/resorts.  The role will include communicating the strategy and evaluating the tactics necessary to accomplish these defined strategies with the GCommerce Operations Teams.  The Account Executive will also ensure the Operations Team is executing in an efficient manner while delivering the quality results for which GCommerce is known.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Position is responsible for leading the strategy with individual clients and identifying how best to accomplish stated client objectives and goals
  • Position is responsible for managing client communication through scheduled meetings and update notes
  • Position is responsible for managing internal communication through the use of Mavenlink (work-flow software)
  • Position is responsible for the participation in monthly/bi-monthly strategy meetings with the GCommerce internal team
  • Position is responsible for the creation and development of monthly account planning processes for each assigned client
  • Position is responsible for having a working knowledge of each GCommerce discipline and is able to speak to each discipline with clients.
  • Position is also responsible for the overall profit and loss for each assigned client hotel/resort.  This effort entails a complete financial review of the client, building the profit and loss information and tracking the team’s efforts.  The Account Executive will be required to manage labor hours weekly to ensure the required profit level is met or exceeded without sacrificing quality or client satisfaction.  Management for profit and loss against each client will be measured within Mavenlink
  • Travel to see each assigned client at least once a year or as client and GCommerce requires, to effectively build client relationships and gain an understanding of client’s property and market dynamics

All efforts of the Account Executive are designed to identify, facilitate and implement proactive and effective Internet marketing campaigns designed to accomplish stated client goals and objectives.  The Account Executive also plays a significant role in increasing GCommerce’s revenue.

Marketing | Marketing Specialist

  • Partner with the search marketing and account services departments to develop specific digital strategies and identify requirements for all marketing assignments, including email, banner ads, landing pages, social media, and website assessments and updates.
  • Oversee digital projects and advertising campaigns from concept to implementation.
  • Achieve fluency in email platforms to create strategy, brainstorm offers and packages, provide creative ideas, launch regular email campaigns, assist with database management and provide reporting and analysis.
  • Achieve fluency in eCRM platforms and triggered email strategies.
  • Create and execute ongoing social media strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to evaluate customer segments and create customer segmentation groups for focused targeted marketing based on customer profiling.
  • Use analytic tools to track, monitor and optimize digital presence and campaigns based on historical performance.
  • Understand and manage display advertising through our RTB platform for our clients.
  • Work closely with both our creative and web development teams for website merchandising and all ad creative.
  • Ability to write marketing plans based upon an agreed strategy for the client.
  • Ability to research, present, contract and execute direct media buys.
  • Ability to drive results through defining and delivering digital marketing KPIs.

Preferences:

  • Some experience in the hospitality industry
  • Marketing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar discipline
  • Experience with online marketing (Email Marketing, Social, Mobile, Google Analytics)

Web Development | Full Stack Website Developer

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users, as well as translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. You will also design the overall architecture of the web application and evolve it to ensure maximum performance and stability.

Desired Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science and/or at least 5 years of demonstrable professional web development experience (GitHub or other portfolios with examples of projects you’ve worked on is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and/or written communication skills
