Account Executive

Account Services

The position of Account Executive will cover a broad range of responsibilities pursuant to GCommerce goals of driving revenue for our hotel/resort clients. Essentially though, an Account Executive of GCommerce will be responsible for leading the strategy for digital marketing efforts with their own assigned client hotels/resorts. The role will include communicating the strategy and evaluating the tactics necessary to accomplish these defined strategies with the GCommerce Operations Teams. The Account Executive will also ensure the Operations Team is executing in an efficient manner while delivering the quality results for which GCommerce is known.

All efforts of the Account Executive are designed to identify, facilitate and implement proactive and effective internet marketing campaigns designed to accomplish stated client goals and objectives. The Account Executive also plays a significant role in increasing GCommerce’s revenue.

Note: This is NOT a commission-based sales role. Most companies would title this as an Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategy with individual clients and identifying how best to accomplish stated client objectives and goals
  • Managing client communication through scheduled meetings and update note
  • Managing internal communication through the use of Mavenlink (work-flow software)
  • Managing accuracy with client data in Salesforce (client relationship management software)
  • Participation in monthly/bi-monthly strategy meetings with the GCommerce internal team
  • Creation and development of monthly account planning processes for each assigned client
  • Having a working knowledge of each GCommerce discipline and is able to speak to each discipline with clients.
  • Overall profit and loss for each assigned client hotel/resort. This effort entails a complete financial review of the client, building the profit and loss information and tracking the team's efforts. The Account Executive will be required to manage labor hours weekly to ensure the required profit level is met or exceeded without sacrificing quality or client satisfaction. Management for profit and loss against each client will be measured within Mavenlink
  • Traveling to see each assigned client at least once a year or as client and GCommerce requires, to effectively build client relationships and gain an understanding of client’s property and market dynamics

Desired Skills

  • Solid working knowledge of basic computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint and be familiar with various hotel Property Management Systems (PMSs).
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from clients, GCommerce staff members, and industry professionals.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to set and accomplish goals and objectives
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to partner with different business units and work independently and in teams in a multi-task/project environment. (Vendors, Clients, Departments, Corporate Office)

Website Development Operations Manager

Website Development

The position of Website Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the GCommerce website development department.  In addition, the position is responsible for being the primary project manager for key website design and development projects.  The position manages the day-to-day activities of the web developers, project managers and content coordinators, including directing their work activities to ensure that project deadlines are met and meet our quality standards.  The position is responsible for participating in the identification and implementation of new operational systems and SOP’s to improve the efficiency of the department.  Significant experience in website design, preferably in an agency setting, is required.  Past experience managing web development teams is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Position oversees the Website Development Department, which includes website developers, content integration specialists and project managers
  • Provide training and management for all direct reports, including setting goals, providing annual reviews, providing ongoing training and executing progressive discipline, when necessary
  • Position is responsible for capacity planning for the department, including managing individual workloads and balancing the work between team members
  • Position is responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Participate as an active team member on the Manager’s Team
  • Create/ensure that there are up-to-date training materials for the department
  • Create/ensure that there are up-to-date SOP’s for the department
  • Dictate the overall best practices of the department to ensure the company stays current with the overall trends in the industry.
  • Based on resources, act as the primary project manager for enterprise website development project
  • Manage the workflow for ongoing website management clients
  •  Assist with scoping and pricing new project opportunities

The Search Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading the strategy for and executing all search engine marketing initiatives for their assigned client hotels/resorts.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with our internal search marketing team and Director of Marketing as well as GCommerce client teams
  • Lead the search marketing strategy with assigned clients and identify how best to support client objectives and goals through search marketing initiatives
  • Utilize 3rd party platforms including, but not limited to, Google Analytics, Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads and Microsoft Ads to manage campaigns and measure KPIs
  • Carefully manage client budgets to ensure client spend and KPI targets are hit each month
  • Recommend and implement SEO strategies and tactics while following GCommerce and industry SEO best practices
  • Ensure search marketing work performed falls within assigned time and client budgets each month
  • Stay up to date on industry news, best practices and contribute findings and knowledge through GCommerce company content such as blog posts
  • Perform ongoing tests within all client accounts to refine and expand GCommerce best practices and drive optimal performance

Who you are

You are an extremely talented graphic designer with experience in digital/social advertising, print, and website layouts focused on usability and user experience. You have a natural instinct for layout, balance, and typographical detailing. You also have the ability to create story-driven brand pieces with minimal brand assets.

You're confident in your ability to design display and social media ads, email templates, landing pages, and print collateral. You combine Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign effortlessly in your daily workflow. You have the ability to work quickly and efficiently and welcome collaboration and creative feedback.

Requirements

  • Broad portfolio of creative work, showing art direction, graphic design and creative skills across multiple channels (offline and online.)
  • Expert knowledge in the use of design concepts (layout, typography, color, white space, and grid)

Junior Project Manager & Content Creator

Website Development

The Jr. Project Manager at GCommerce is a hybrid role responsible for the overall success of our DRA Website projects and owns these projects from start to finish. The Jr. Project Manager is responsible for working with all internal and external resource teams to complete client projects within projected labor hours and costs. Communication and organization are critical to this position. Please provide writing samples, as this position requires occasional copywriting and content creation.

Core Project Management Skills:

  • Ability to measure, plan, and monitor all aspects of projects this position is responsible for
  • Ability to write and edit copy in a WordPress CMS
  • Ability to understand the budgetary/time constraints of each project
  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate effectively GCommerce processes to clients
  • Must be able to problem-solve and be as resourceful as possible during high volume times
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and provide accurate budgetary and resource KPI’s across all projects on a regular basis

Desired Skills:

  • Excellent deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use various project management tools and solutions effectively
  • One year of Project Management experience or Content Creation/Entry within an agency environment preferred
  • Understanding of design and software development lifecycle
  • Bachelor’s in English, marketing, computer science, or similar preferred

  • Ability to edit/resize photos in Photoshop
