20% Increase in Website Revenue

Hotel Californian partnered with GCommerce in January 2020 looking to boost their digital marketing efforts and drive increased revenue through their website. The luxury, Santa Barbara property took advantage of our Performance-Based Fee Model unlocking all of our digital marketing services for a nominal commission fee on direct bookings. Fast forward to Summer 2020, we are in the middle of a pandemic and GCommerce is still generating an average 20x return across paid media channels. The Performance-Based Fee Model allowed our team to be nimble and focus on the channels we know perform best and will continue to generate revenue for the hotel.

A Custom Approach Focused on Revenue

Our strategy has specifically targeted the local drive market promoting the property’s beautiful location, the amenities and most importantly the surrounding outdoor activities and the ability to escape city-life. Our media campaigns span from social media advertising to paid search to display prospecting and retargeting. The GCommerce team has also collaborated on fresh, compelling content on the website to keep Hotel Californian top of mind with our target audiences. Also, we’ve continued to find creative ways to generate new traffic to the website showing a 35% increase year-over-year in sessions.
