Metadesk, a division within GCommerce, is looking to add a Sales Manager to this fast-growing team. If you have sales experience, a background in hospitality, and are a self-motivated individual, then you’ve come to the right place.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Target and secure new business based on Metadesk’s revenue and product goals
  • Drive a direct sales process from Prospecting and Qualifying a lead thru Discovery, Opportunity, Proposal and Close
  • Ownership management of Metadesk’s Sales Prospecting Pipeline in coordination with GCommerce’s Sales Development Representative(s)
  • Ownership management of the Sales Pipeline for his/her own book of new business opportunities, keeping all opportunities up-to-date and documented tasks/activities against each opportunity
  • Perform email and phone prospecting for his/her own direct sales efforts to drive direct sales pipeline
  • Identification of target prospects and augmentation of prospect records within GCommerce’s Sales CRM platform in order to pursue targeted prospecting campaigns and communications
  • Ability to stay up to date on the latest digital marketing and metasearch trends, competition and their offerings
  • Use Hubspot CRM for the purposes of sales prospecting, database development, reporting, automation of sales tasks, database filtering and targeting, and email marketing

 

Requirements

  • Previous sales / business development experience
  • Experience with B2B sales and relationship and lead nurturing
  • Not afraid of cold calling
  • The ability to work independently
  • Natural ability to network
  • A hunger for learning new things

 

Preferences

  • Previous experience in hospitality or travel
  • Understanding of digital marketing
